Organization Incubator

The Organisation Incubator project  provides support for refugee and immigrant organisations in associative work, project management and finance related issues.  Organization Incubator is a part of the Finnish Refugee Council

The aim of the project is to increase know-how of these organisations thus enabling them to participate more actively in their own domain and seek and receive funding for their projects.

The Organisation Incubator project's educational events inform refugee and immigrant organisations on the main aspects of organisational work, including management, finance and project cycle.

Enlarging the network of immigrant organisations is one of the main objectives of the project. Networking efforts include the collection of an information bank about immigrant organisations and the building of a material bank for organisational work.

Organisation Incubator ran from 2005 to 2010, and received funding again from RAY to continue in 2011 to 2013.

Organiszation Incubators function is to:

• increase know-how of the associations and other immigrant and refugee organisations
• advise associations in fund raising issues
• advise in certain administrational issues
• give assistance in special project managment
• help organizations to seek and receive fund for  their projects
• arrange necessary  training for organisations
